Tractor Rally at the Rural Life Living Museum

Kick off the year with our first special event — the Annual Tractor Rally! This popular two-day celebration is a must for tractor enthusiasts of all ages.

We’re excited to welcome 40+ tractors to the museum this year, including vehicles from our own collection as well as visiting tractors brought by proud private owners. Whether you're a dedicated connoisseur or just curious, this event has something for everyone.

Event Highlights:

• "Sit in the Seat" – Climb aboard our beloved little grey Fergie and experience what it’s like behind the wheel.

• Children’s activities to keep our youngest visitors entertained.

• Daily Tractor Parade at 2 PM – Watch as all the tractors roar to life and drive through the museum grounds, accompanied by expert live commentary.

While you're here, take time to explore the rest of the museum. The rally takes place across the site, so you can still enjoy our historic buildings and fascinating collection of everyday rural objects.

Make a day of it:

• Bring a picnic to enjoy in our covered picnic area or find a quiet spot among the trees.

• Or treat yourself at our museum café, serving hot and cold food, drinks, our famous sausage rolls, and a delicious selection of cakes and sweet treats.
